Anna Chan, a music and cultural lover who is working as an art administrator with deep passion in arts education. With a BS degree from HAAS business school of the University of California, Berkeley, Anna started her arts management journey after graduating from the MA in Cultural Management, CUHK. Anna worked at various arts, cultural and educational organizations in the U.S., Australia, and HK, in coordinating sizable arts festivals, performances, exhibitions and education programs. With gratitude and dedication, Anna always enjoys collaboration and appreciates the friendships. She works at Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble as the General Manager to promote arts and culture.
Graduated from The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, awarded Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Master of Arts in Cultural Management (Dean’s List 2017-18) respectively. Possess over 10 years of experience and network on performing venues management in Youth Square since 2009.
Enthusiastic about drama and participated in various stage productions as director, playwright, producer and stage manager. Curated and designed some exhibitions in recent years, including The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2019 (PQ Studio: Common Design Project), received invitation to exhibit the work in Prague.
Completed various training in the field of Performing Arts, including drama critics, playwright, producer and stage design courses.
Michelle has obtained a Master's degree in Cultural Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a bachelor's degree in Theatre Design from the University of the Arts London, Wimbledon College of Art. She is an independent artist based in Hong Kong, engages in different creative projects not limited to theatre and television set design, costume design, exhibition design, and publication works such as graphics and book design. In recent years, she has participated in various art projects including local drama productions, curating art exhibitions & festivals. In 2019, she exhibited her work in the Prague Quadrennial’s Hong Kong booth.
